Our goal is to help OpenInfra and adjacent communities along with companies and individuals who launch and participate in projects to avoid making the “usual” mistakes. The OpenInfra communities and Foundation follow the Four Opens as guiding principles. While we documented what these principles are, for someone who’s new to open source or haven’t yet had a good experience it is challenging to translate them into practice. The stories that we are looking for intend to help put the challenges as well as the Four Opens into perspective to encourage and enable open collaboration throughout the ecosystem. The next step, as we have more stories collected, is to start structuring the content. I will reach out again in January to organize our next meeting and sync up with all of you who are interested in participating. Community Blueprint idea

Hi, I'm reaching out to you as a follow up to one of the ideas that was brought up during the OpenInfra Board of Directors (BoD) meeting in Berlin on June 6, called Community Blueprint. The prupose of this email is to raise awareness of the activities around the idea and invite you to participate in next steps, if you are interested. A few of us from the OpenInfra Foundation staff and BoD met recently to discuss the idea in a bit more details and identify goals and next steps. Hello team, I wanted to let you all know that I will not be a part of the Gold member election this time around. Cisco leadership has determined that we won’t renew our sponsorship for next year. It has been an absolute pleasure being a part of this community for the last decade+. Since I got involved in OpenStack in early 2011, I have seen this community grow and thrive and so much of it is because of folks like you who have dedicated so much time and effort into building the greatest OSS community on earth.
