Hurry - the deadline to submit a talk is February 1 at 11:59pm PST. NEW: Speakers are limited to a maximum of THREE submissions. Travel Support Committee - OpenStack Summit Austin

Dear Board of Directors, We’re putting together the committee for the Austin Summit Travel Support Program, which will open next week, and we are looking for 3 board members to join. Every year we have 3 members from the Board of Directors, Technical Committee, User Committee, Ambassadors and Foundation staff. For the previous Summit we had Robert Esker, Egle Sigler, and Eileen Evans serve as committee members from the Board and we’re looking for three new individuals to join us this year. A big thank you to them! We were able to fund the accommodation and flight costs of 30 key contributors. Applications will close February 9 and the Travel Committee will have from February 10-23 to submit their votes. Board Members, We have some OpenStack DefCore discussion planned tomorrow. We've prepared a summary with some alternatives for you. Happily, they include some short term items that we will review during the meeting. We will likely not have time to consider the longer term actions that we've also been discussing in DefCore meetings.
