Yes, the codename didn't change. The python projects are still going to
be called ceilometer and python-ceilometer.

That I'm not sure. I'm assuming they will be renamed if necessary. So
far there is no commit mentioning 'telemetry' nor 'metering' in git:

I hear you, it's not easy. I have the feeling that nobody wants to
change things just for fun: Ceilometer expanded its objective and the
name "metering" was just not representing the capabilities of the
software. It may be as hard to explain users that ceilometer can be used
for monitoring too, despite the fact that it was named 'metering', don't
you think?
