Hi!

Each quarter, Qingye Jiang, an employee of Eucalyptus, publishes a
report of the community and contribution metrics of OpenStack,
OpenNebula, Eucalyptus, and CloudStack. He has just published his
report for Y13Q3:

http://www.eucalyptus.com/blog/2013/10/03/cy13-q3-community-analysis-%E2%80%94-openstack-vs-opennebula-vs-eucalyptus-vs-cloudstack

Since his report last quarter, he has been collecting more metrics
from git commit history, and also I think he is gathering in more data
sets of discussion forums.

Short summary of OpenStack’s position:
OpenStack is still in the lead and accelerating.
However, CloudStack is also still accelerating and growing fast.
We are far and away best at bringing in new contributors.

..m
