Hi everyone, The main conference schedule for the upcoming OpenStack Summit in Austin <https://www.openstack.org/summit/austin-2016/> is now available! SCHEDULE: https://www.openstack.org/summit/austin-2016/summit-schedule/ <https://www.openstack.org/summit/austin-2016/summit-schedule/> SPEAKER NOTIFICATIONS If you submitted a talk - check your email. Everyone who submitted a speaking proposal for the Summit will soon receive an email notification to let them know whether or not their talk is accepted. The email sent to selected speakers was sent from speakersupport(a)openstack.org <mailto:speakersupport@openstack.org> and contains important next steps and their speaker registration code. Each speaker is responsible for registering themselves to attend the Summit. Please make sure your colleagues read the email and complete this step. MOBILE APP In mid April the schedule mobile app will also be available for download. We will notify the community at that time. Contact summit(a)openstack.org with any questions. See you in Austin! [openstack-community] Community Organizers Meeting at the OpenInfra Summit

Hi everyone! I want to provide a bit of an update on something you can expect at the upcoming OpenInfra Summit[1]. At the end of Day 2 (Wednesday, June 14) at the OpenInfra Summit, we will be hosting a Marketplace Mixer. Leading up to the Marketplace Mixer, Latin American Community Organizer, Alvaro Soto, will be providing a talk on “Cultural Challenges for OpenSource in LATAM” [2] on the OpenInfra Stage. This is a stage right in the center of the OpenInfra Marketplace, where the Mixer will be held. Following that, I will be providing an update on the efforts you all have been making to progress the open source community in your region. We will have two designated tables next to the stage for community organizers such as yourself to hang out. At the end of Alvaro’s talk, I will introduce each of the community organizers we have present. Then during the Marketplace Mixer, you will have the opportunity to mingle with folks who are interested in participating in local events. In addition, we will have representatives from a few other open source software communities onsite. During this time, this will also be an opportunity for you to ask me or any of these representatives any questions on how we can support your efforts to grow the local OpenInfra communities. As cross-community events become a more popular trend, I hope this will be an opportunity for you to advocate your work to the wider community as well as gain alignment with various open source Foundations for support in your future events. If you will be at the OpenInfra Summit and would like to participate in this community event please notify me so that I may make sure I have your name down to introduce you to the audience.
