Hi everyone, The main conference schedule for the upcoming OpenStack Summit in Austin <https://www.openstack.org/summit/austin-2016/> is now available! SCHEDULE: https://www.openstack.org/summit/austin-2016/summit-schedule/ <https://www.openstack.org/summit/austin-2016/summit-schedule/> SPEAKER NOTIFICATIONS If you submitted a talk - check your email. Everyone who submitted a speaking proposal for the Summit will soon receive an email notification to let them know whether or not their talk is accepted. The email sent to selected speakers was sent from speakersupport(a)openstack.org <mailto:speakersupport@openstack.org> and contains important next steps and their speaker registration code. Each speaker is responsible for registering themselves to attend the Summit. Please make sure your colleagues read the email and complete this step. MOBILE APP In mid April the schedule mobile app will also be available for download. We will notify the community at that time. Contact summit(a)openstack.org with any questions. See you in Austin! Hey everyone! Track Chair nominations <https://openinfrafoundation.formstack.com/forms/trackchairnominations2023 <https://openinfrafoundation.formstack.com/forms/trackchairnominations2023>> for the 2023 OpenInfra Summit in Vancouver (June 13-15, 2023) are now open! Track Chairs for each Track will help build the Summit schedule, and are made up of individuals working in open infrastructure. Responsibilities include: Help the Summit team put together the best possible content based on your subject matter expertise Promote the individual Tracks within your networks Review the submissions and Community voting results in your particular Track Determine if there are any major content gaps in your Track, and if so, potentially solicit additional speakers directly to submit Ensure diversity of speakers and companies represented in your Track Avoid vendor sales pitches, focusing more on real-world user stories and technical, in-the-trenches experiences Identify which submissions would make good content for OpenInfra Live, the virtual show hosted by the OpenInfra Foundation that encourages live questions from a global audience 2023 Summit Tracks: 5G/NFV & Edge AI/Machine Learning/HPC CI/CD Container Infrastructure Getting Started Hardware Enablement Open Development Private & Hybrid Cloud Public Cloud Security Hands On Workshops Full track descriptions are available here <https://openinfra.dev/summit/vancouver-2023/summit-tracks/ <https://openinfra.dev/summit/vancouver-2023/summit-tracks/>>. The Triangle OpenStack Meetup <https://www.meetup.com/triangle-openstack-meetup/> group in North Carolina, is hoping to host a meetup soon and is looking for some speakers for the event. If you are interested in participating in the meetup, please let me know. If you are interested in participating in meetups in your region or are running a meetup group and need assistance, please reach out to me and I am happy to connect you with resources in your area.
