New case study: OpenStack at Workday
Workday has been a very visible member of the OpenStack community for years. Workday customers around the world use services deployed on OpenStack. This SaaS on OpenStack case study provides details on Workday’s phased migration in every datacenter, high availability architecture and vendors, CI/CD workflow, current applications and future plans, and quantified benefits.

Smart City Cloud OpenStack Hackathon: Connecting people and the environment for the well-being of society. (December 1-3, 2017)

The theme of Smart City was chosen for the OpenStack Hackathon Rio to create smart cities through cloud applications that interconnect people with environment for the well-being of society. The main goal of this hackathon is to develop the OpenStack community in Rio de Janeiro and Brazil and promote entrepreneurship for the construction of innovative solutions to improve the well-being of people in the cities.
