Good bye, Rob.  Hello, Rob!

It would be weird to say goodbye since the odds that we’ll run into each other regularly are about 100%.  I prefer to think of our journey’s on the OpenStack Foundation board as intermittent journeys.  In fact, I thought I was off once before, but wound up back on.  LOL.  Perhaps this time it will stick.  Perhaps I’ll be back in the fold again unexpectedly.

Regardless, seems like we have a nice group of new directors and I’m looking forward to seeing what folks will do this year.  See you at the board meetings.  Even though I can’t vote, I promise to kibitz.

I believe that interoperability remains a critical factor for OpenStack; in fact, I'm shifting my focus to even broader cross-platform interoperability because I see that as a key to open cloud success.
