Hi everyone,

Over the past 18 months, the Board has been working to update the technical requirements for the OpenStack Powered logo, which is used for products that contain OpenStack software (such as public clouds, distributions or appliances). The purpose of these new requirements is to drive interoperability in the market by ensuring OpenStack Powered products are running a common set of services and exposing that same functionality.

For the next community marketing meeting, we’d like to walk through the new technical requirements, the meaning of OpenStack Powered, how you can validate your products as OpenStack Powered (especially for those of you launching new products around the Summit), and how we’re planning to roll this out more broadly to the market.
