Hi everyone,

 

As you know, throughout the month of July we've been celebrating the
OpenStack 4th birthday with the entire OpenStack community via local user
group parties!





The official OpenStack birthday <http://www.openstack.org/birthday>  is July
19th but because this date falls on a weekend this year, we are celebrating
on Monday, July 21 in an anniversary blog post, and Tuesday, July 22nd with
a party during OSCON

birthday blog posts. If you send us the link to your post, we will included
mention of it in the OpenStack birthday blog that is published Monday. 

 

In case you missed the last open marketing meeting, we have the following
activities planned:

*	More than 50 user groups around the world are coordinating
celebrations

*	Our birthday landing page featuring stats, twitter feeds and
upcoming birthday parties thrown by our global user groups. View the latest

*	We are throwing a birthday party during OSCON for OpenStack
community members, Foundation staff and the board of directors to mingle and
celebrate the community growth and progress. If you're attending OSCON next

*	This month, we have been celebrating contributors who have made
OpenStack successful with the #OpenMic series and featuring active user

How you can participate:

*	Join the conversation - tweet, blog and post pictures using the
#OpenStack4Bday hashtag to be included in our aggregate blog post July 21,
as well as twitter feeds on the birthday landing page and OSCON party

*	If you are planning to post a blog about the significance of the
milestone for the community, please send the intended URL for inclusion in
our aggregate blog post by July 21 at 11am CDT (send to

*	Share your user story to be featured on the Superuser publication
