In the tread, I lost track of who said "The way I saw it, the whole point of those statements after the executive session was to *restate* concerns publicly for the record ..."

I think there's an interesting balance between stating our opinions about the public part of the board meeting and doing a recap of the board meeting.  Obviously from my posts, I think it's reasonable to restate positions we're taking publicly.  To do that, we have to recap the meeting to some extent.  My opinion on it is that authors should be careful to note that this is their opinion/position not official minutes.

Overall, I believe more posts about the board meetings increases transparency.

I completely agree. I get concerned when we imply a need to lock down communications further. I think Mark's write-ups have been helpful.
