From wes at openstack.org Fri May 29 17:24:54 2020 From: wes at openstack.org (Wes Wilson) Date: Fri, 29 May 2020 10:24:54 -0700 Subject: [Foundation Board] PTG happening next week and OpenDev preview Message-ID: <37C8C13A-5D54-4A82-A561-2DA34550BDCD@openstack.org> Hello everyone, We wanted to send a reminder that the PTG is happening virtually next week, June 1-5. If your teams haven’t registered for the event yet, please have them do so at virtualptgjune2020.eventbrite.com . You can see more details about the event including the schedule at https://www.openstack.org/ptg . As you know, the PTG plays an integral part in developing the next release of OpenStack, as well as the software for other OSF projects and we’re very excited to hold this event virtually for the first time. Not only will we be bringing our community together during this pandemic, we will also be able to include participants who might not have been able to travel to the event in the past. Considering this will be our first virtual event, there will likely be hiccups and we appreciate your patience as we work through them. The good news with running into hiccups is that we’ll learn from them and will continue to learn how to throw great virtual events (and we have a few more lined up). Shortly after the PTG, starting June 29, we will be holding a series of virtual OpenDev events where developers and users will get together to share best practices, identify gaps and advance the state of open infrastructure. These events will cover different topics and will be very interactive, with the chance to talk to some of the biggest open infrastructure users and contributors in the world. If you or your team are interested in participating, you can get more details and register at openstack.org/events/opendev-2020 . None of this would be possible without the support of OSF Platinum and Gold members. We will be recognizing member companies during the PTG and OpenDev events. Feel free to reach out to me or events at openstack.org with any questions. Thanks and have a great weekend!
