Ready, Set, Hashtag #RunsOnOpenStack
We’re unveiling the marketing community’s collaborative campaign, “The World Runs on OpenStack” on Oct. 25 at the Barcelona Summit during the keynote. Here’s how you can create greater visibility for your company using the #RunsOnOpenStack hashtag:

  *   Tweet about the new web page, which will be live on Oct. 25—we previewed it at the last marketing community meeting. The URL will be openstack.org/user-stories<http://openstack.org/user-stories>, and it includes success stories from many industries, workloads and major organizations from around the globe.

  *   Share your company’s best customers. Use #RunsOnOpenStack as part of your tweet, @mention your customer, and point to your own web site case study. Example tweets:

     *   Finance #RunsOnOpenStack. Just ask @BBVA, Spain's second largest bank

New Forrester Report
Forrester just released a report titled “The State of Cloud Platform Standards, Q4 2016<https://reprints.forrester.com/#/assets/2/480/'RES130784'/reports>” that notes the most popular standards, AWS and OpenStack, are de facto standards. A couple of great notes: “Today, the list of private cloud suites supporting the OpenStack platform includes (but is not limited to) Cisco, HP, IBM, Microsoft, Rackspace, Red Hat, and VMware.” (32) Also: “Although only 3% of North American and European enterprise infrastructure decision-makers whose companies have adopted or are planning to adopt private cloud recognize the pure OpenStack distribution as part of their private cloud solution, the top six most-adopted vendors all support OpenStack, and many base their own platforms off of their own OpenStack distribution.”(33)
