Open Stack

Hello Team,

I am new to cloud platform and I am assigned with OpenStack technology. 
I can understand the basic like what is public and private clouds but, 
unable to get a clear picture on how OpenStack is offering public and 
private clouds and how my company will be benefited through OpenStack. 
Can anyone give me some idea on this.
