Stefano,

Can you advise where to report incorrect data ? The Swiss group has a twitter handle which is the URL to meetup (https://groups.openstack.org/groups/switzerland)

Looks really nice and easy to navigate.

Thanks
Tim

Hello.

:) Definitely a good step forward.

Where may I edit the name of the Country/Location?

:) Noticed a minor typo (Phillipines -> Philippines).

Thank you and good day, Dean Marc.

Hello folks

the OpenStack User Groups portal is the online place for all user groups around the world to use. It's designed to be an aggregator of information from different sources, so user groups can continue to exist wherever they feel most comfortable (meetup.com<http://meetup.com>, facebook or other places) and the information they produce be visible on https://groups.openstack.org.

Today the portal is the place to find:

* the full list of known OpenStack user groups
* a dynamic map of user groups
* an aggregation of all upcoming events[1]
* static content
  - Community code of conduct
  - organizer tips (copied from the wiki)
  - how to contribute to the portal

One of the cool features of the portal is that you can join groups and be notified of new events when they're created.

Another cool feature is that groups that don't want to use meetup.com<http://meetup.com>, can create a group on the portal with an easy point-and-click interface. Because this feature is now available, I have disabled edits to the user groups wiki page [3].

The portal is built on Drupal Commons and is fully open sourced, managed within the OpenStack Infra team. Contributions are welcome. The groups portal is available in multiple languages already, although content is not translated yet. The plans for the future are kept on https://storyboard.openstack.org/#!/project_group/58

Anybody with an account on http://www.openstack.org can join the portal: please join the portal, play with it and let us know what you think.

Cheers,
stef
