Hi everyone,
Thanks again for registering to the OpenInfra Asia mailing-list! This is
where public discussions about the Asia regional hub will be held. Here
are some news that you may have missed.
First, we are thrilled to welcome our newest Platinum member, based in
South Korea: OKESTRO!
Our OpenInfra Asia advisory board met two weeks ago to discuss the
OpenInfra Summit Asia, regional stats and OpenInfra messaging.
Regarding OpenInfra Asia Summit, preparations are in full swing. The
call for presentations is closing at the end of this month, on May 29.
So don't forget to send your proposals! This big event is a great way to
get your message across to the regional OpenInfra community. Here is the
form:

The regional organizers are still looking for sponsors. You can see
opportunities for sponsoring at
https://openinfra.dev/events/sponsorship/#OpenInfraSummit-OCPRegionalSummit
.
On the regional stats side, we looked into APAC regional contribution,
based on the location of contributors. 28% of the commits to OpenStack
are coming from the region (with notable contributions from NTT, NEC
99cloud, Fujitsu, EasyStack, ARDC, and Inspur), and 18% of the commits
to Kata Containers (with notable contributions from Ant Group, Alibaba
Cloud and Intel).
Finally, we encourage you to relay and share an article about OpenStack
Caracal release and a presentation on NVidia's use of Kata Containers:

Looking forward to seeing you all in Suwon in September.
