Hi everyone, The Open Infrastructure Foundation Board of Directors met last week and Jonathan Bryce asked me to send the summary. The agenda[1] was posted ahead of time. Julia Kreger opened the meeting, and the Board approved the minutes from the September 10, 2024 meeting. Next, the Board heard a Platinum member application from Rackspace. After the presentation, the Board had a brief Executive Session to discuss the application, then returned to open session to vote unanimously in favor of approving Rackspace as a Platinum Member of OpenInfra Foundation. Next, the staff presented an update on a few topics[2]. Thierry Carrez kicked off by sharing the features and coverage of OpenStack’s 30th release 2024.2 Dalmatian. Thierry then provided an update on the Open Regulatory Compliance Working Group that the OpenInfra Foundation recently joined. He then provided an update on new members joining the OpenInfra Foundation followed by upcoming events where the OpenInfra Foundation staff and community will be participating, including next week’s Project Teams Gathering (PTG)[3].
