Berlin Summit Recap; Denver Summit Kick Off!
Hi everyone, Thank you again for a great OpenStack Summit in Berlin! We wanted to share a few takeaways, including strong press coverage and a new consolidated presentation (based on the board meeting slides) that might be useful for your team. New, consolidated OpenStack Foundation deck is now available - diagrams, pilot project overview slides, trends and OpenStack users. (Please email me directly if you need a PPT or PDF version.) More than 50 press & analysts attended the Berlin Summit, and we received some great coverage. You can find a sampling below, or the full list in our tracking document here. We expect to open the call for presentations next week. New for the Open Infrastructure Summit Denver: We’ve evolved the brand to Open Infrastructure Summit to recognize our diverse audience and signal to the market that this is the conference for IT infrastructure decision makers, people who run and build open infrastructure. That means in addition to OpenStack, you’ll see the new pilot projects —including Airship, Kata Containers, StarlingX and Zuul —alongside open source projects like Kubernetes, Ansible, Docker, Cloud Foundry and many more. We’re co-locating the Summit & Project Teams Gathering. The Summit will run Monday - Wednesday, and the Project Teams Gathering will run Thursday - Saturday. We’re happy to offer new discounted prices to Foundation Members & Sponsors in recognition of their ongoing support. We should have news to share about the China Summit location and dates Q4 2019 in the next few weeks. Please let us know if you need anything in the meantime. Thanks, Lauren
