I wanted to provide an update regarding OpenInfra Day North America (NA).

During the last board meeting, we discussed a co-location of OpenInfra Day NA with SCaLE 2025. That still remains the plan. However, with the kind support of Indiana University who hosts the US National Science Foundation funded Jetstream2 cloud computing system, we are able to also host an event this year on October 15, 2024 at the IU Indianapolis Campus Center in Indianapolis, Indiana.

We are evaluating an option to make this OpenInfra Day North America a two-day event on October 15 & 16. So far only October 15 has been confirmed. I will have confirmation on a second day (October 16) at the board meeting next week.

We have already received some sponsor and attendee interest, which is really exciting! More information on the registration, sponsorship, and the CFP will become available on July 15.
