We?re putting together the committee for the Austin Summit Travel Support Program, which will open next week, and we are looking for 3 board members to join.
Every year we have 3 members from the Board of Directors, Technical Committee, User Committee, Ambassadors and Foundation staff. For the previous Summit we had Robert Esker, Egle Sigler, and Eileen Evans serve as committee members from the Board and we?re looking for three new individuals to join us this year. A big thank you to them! We were able to fund the accommodation and flight costs of 30 key contributors.
Applications will close February 9 and the Travel Committee will have from February 10-23 to submit their votes.
If you are available sometime during this timeframe (February 10-23) for approximately 2-4 hours and are interested in being part of the Travel Support Committee, please let me know by end of next week. The first three individuals who reply will be selected.
