Hi Tim, The notice went out yesterday to all individual members. I was planning on sending a note to the Foundation mailing list today as a general post after sifting through the bouncebacks. Thanks for noticing the lingering 2015 dates. We'll get those fixed shortly. In terms of email notifications not going out to those you nominate, could you let me know where you're seeing this? I'm seeing emails go out through our outgoing servers and know that at least some people have received them. Feel free to hit me up off list if you want to debug it with me. If you didn't get the notice yesterday and are not getting nomination emails, perhaps there's a delivery problem or spam flag on your side for our outgoing servers. Thanks, Jonathan On November 24, 2015 2:37:01 AM Tim Bell <Tim.Bell@cern.ch> wrote:
I don't recall the notifications on the individual directors call for candidates being sent out. The nominations appear to be open (https://www.openstack.org/election/2016-individual-director-election/) since November 23rd but I think a bit more publicity is needed to get the maximum community coverage.
There are a couple of glitches in the web pages also
- In the candidate application (https://www.openstack.org/profile/CandidateApplication/), the last question refers to the priorities in 2015. I think this should be 2016.
- In https://www.openstack.org/profile/election, the "See The Current Nominations" links to the 2015 candidates page rather than https://www.openstack.org/election/2016-individual-director-election/Candida teList/
- In prior years, an email was sent when people nominated you. These do not seem to be going out at the moment.
Tim
