Let's please call the OpenStack User Groups like that, User Groups, not meetups. The name meetup is inappropriate to identify generally our community, it's just the name of a popular online tool. Besides, not all OpenStack user groups use meetup.com. Raphael: can you adjust the text on http://www.meetup.com/OpenStack-Online-Meetup/events/174880782/, make the title more clearly about How to Run OpenStack User Groups (also for SEO purposes, I think it would be better). And in the description remove the sentences which may make people believe that all openstack groups run on meetup.com Example, in the lead, a better text would be: If you run an OpenStack User Group (or contemplate to start your own) and if you want to talk to folks who bootstrapped groups from zero up to a couple thousand members: etc Thanks, Stef -- Ask and answer questions on https://ask.openstack.org
Stef, great feedback - thank you for the clarification! I already incorporated your suggestions. Do you have any ideas how to further promote this hangout? All the best, Raf On Sat, Apr 5, 2014 at 5:59 PM, Stefano Maffulli <stefano@openstack.org> wrote:
