[openstack-community] Please review for a language specific list: Korean
Hello all, Happy new year 2015 for all the OpenStack guys! I have just posted a review in OpenStack gerrit for OpenStack Korean language specific mailing list. - https://review.openstack.org/144709 I have read https://wiki.openstack.org/wiki/Mailing_Lists and followed the guideline for the 'Language-specific lists' part. Could somebody review this request? Thank you so much in advance! With many thanks, /Ian
Hello, Regarding this review, do this review require more code reviews? According to http://docs.openstack.org/infra/manual/developers.html#code-review , after two +2, the source is ready to be merged. It would be much better if Korean people will be able to use openstack-ko mailing list before Feb 5, 2015, because "OpenStack Day in Korea" will be held on that day. (http://lists.openstack.org/pipermail/community/2015-January/000986.html). Please somebody proceed this, or let me know if more revisions or additional steps are needed. With many thanks, /Ian Ian Y. It's set up now. Someone with Hangul codepoints in their browser font will need to let us know if http://lists.openstack.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/openstack-ko is rendering properly. Unfortunately the entry for it at http://lists.openstack.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo is full of mojibake (not sure whether my browser is guessing Latin-1 there or the encoding is marked incorrectly for the page). -- Jeremy Stanley
Jeremy, Thank you for setting up our mailing list. Same here. http://lists.openstack.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/openstack-ko is rendering properly with browser's default encoding option. However, http://lists.openstack.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo is full of mojibake. I had to manually change encoding option of the browser. I have just found that http://lists.openstack.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo page contains 'us-ascii' encoding metadata header, which prevents to display Hangul (Korean characters). Now I have removed some Korean characters previously displayed on that page.
