Re: [openstack-community] [User-committee] UC candidacy.
(Adding community@lists.openstack.org mailing list and some Foundation members related with this) Hello Ilya, As announced by [1], https://www.meetup.com/pro/osf/ is now an official group portal. As an UC election official, I discussed with last UC IRC meeting and I got confirmation that the AUC list is retrieved from Meetup Pro [2]. Two more comments: - @Ilya: It seems that Russian user group is not listed in Meetup Pro. If it is, please talk with Ashlee to successfully register your user group to Meetup Pro. - @Ashley @Jimmy: Is it possible to make a redirection of URL: groups.openstack.org to www.meetup.com/pro/osf/ ? With many thanks, /Ian [1] http://lists.openstack.org/pipermail/community/2019-April/001956.html [2] http://eavesdrop.openstack.org/meetings/uc/2019/uc.2019-08-26-15.03.log.html... Hello Natal,
First of all, thanks a lot for your UC candidacy!
UC election is applicable for Active User Contributors (AUCs) as defined by OpenStack User Committee Charter [1], and I would like to share that both UC election officials could not verify that you are an AUC.
If you can share more details which support to verify that you are an AUC who is eligible for the election, please do not hesitate to share with the election officials before the due of the nomination period.
Although the election officials could not confirm that you are an eilgible candidacy for the election, I am pretty sure that you can become AUC later, and can run for next UC election(s).
With many thanks,
/Ian

Hi Ian, Thanks for flagging this! I’ve connected with Ilya and Jimmy. We’re getting Ilya’s group added to Meetup.com/pro/osf shortly. Ashlee
