Sean, Is the aim to provide co-ordination for the OpenStack user groups worldwide ? Ryan, JC and I have been putting together the structure for the OpenStack user committee (as described on the foundation list at http://lists.openstack.org/pipermail/foundation/2012-December/001289.html). As we have collected input from various parties, there is a proposal for part of the committee to consist of user group representatives from different geographies. As mentioned in the mail to the foundation list, anyone who'd like to contribute to the user committee structure/mandate is welcome to get in touch for editing rights to https://docs.google.com/document/d/1yD8TfqUik2dt5xo_jMVHMl7tw9oIJnEndLK8YqET oyo I am on travel on the 15th so I won't be able to attend the call but it would be great if the conclusions could be distributed to the community list. That's one of the possible outcomes. The idea is to help user groups get started and continue getting ideas for their meetings. Also, one of the things we want to achieve is to give continuity to the conversations that start at the Design Summit: lots of topics get touched during the summits, blueprints are created but then between the 6 months of the release lots of these fall back into oblivion (it's normal) only to be picked up again after 6 months, with little progress made. One of the ideas thrown around is to start tracking these little discussions/blueprints and keep them hot for topics to spend at meeting/meetup time.

I think it's good to 'force' having a representation from other geographical places into the User Committee. We may need to add some formalisation also to the user groups this way. Cheers, stef

While we have not discussed the detailed structure of the user committee, a structure such as 3 reserved seats for elected user group representatives from Americas, APAC and EMEA has been mentioned. This could help funnel input and structure information cascading. I'm curious why we would limit participation in the User Committee. Seems that just as in the case of the various incubated and core projects, where participation is open to anyone willing to roll up their sleeves and contribute in a meaningful way (code, testing, reviews, bug triage, docs, localization, etc.), that the User Committee should be open to anyone who considers themselves as a user, by whatever definition we might establish. There is a difference between users who can help (all help is welcome!) and the actual committee itself. Comparing to the technical committee, there are PTLs and elected members which form the technical committee but many others take part. Input/Discussions/Debate should be with the community at large but a subset of the community is needed for the final review of options and decisions (on behalf of their electorate). I don’t think It is always possible to have an ‘all users’ vote on each topic. As I mentioned, none of this is decided yet (and comments are welcome on https://docs.google.com/document/d/1yD8TfqUik2dt5xo_jMVHMl7tw9oIJnEndLK8YqET...) but I think there is a need for a group of O(10) people nominated from the various constituents to act as a representative body. BTW, all communication between members of the user committee should be public as we have already started with the initial 3 members (the archives are at http://lists.openstack.org/pipermail/user-committee/) Tim From: Christopher B Ferris [mailto:chrisfer@us.ibm.com] Sent: 13 January 2013 19:55 To: Tim Bell Cc: Yujie Du; Stefano Maffulli; community@lists.openstack.org Subject: Re: [openstack-community] Calling all user group and meetup organizers I'm curious why we would limit participation in the User Committee. this is for anybody interested in the openstack community, foundation members and not, anywhere in the world. Particularly, I'd say that you should pay attention to this call if you 1) coordinate a openstack user group, 2) think about starting one, 3) are a new openstack developer that doesn't know exactly where to contribute /stef

Agenda for tomorrow's user group / meetup planning meeting * * Review of user group and meetup template * Meetups fit into the larger plan of user committee and summit to summit development how? * Where would be the location for social materials like videos, meetup logs, and other meeting related items? * Where do operators go to figure out how to run OpenStack in production? * Can the Foundation start working with some Universities for meeting space, sponsorship, and student participation? Is the Foundation interested in Phd thesis sponsorship? * If possible I like to get some supporters for a groups.openstack.org site, including content writers and some developer resources from the community. We have a lot of knowledge about running / starting an user group, and need to write it down, publish on the site and share it with newcomers. Hi, I am sorry that I may not able to join the meeting but the Hong Kong OpenStack User Group and Hong Kong Cyberport will be updating you any information if necessary. May I have a bit comment on the following agenda: Can the Foundation start working with some Universities for meeting space, sponsorship, and student participation? Is the Foundation interested in Phd thesis sponsorship I strongly agree on this point, since there is getting more university students and researchers who starts to explore the open source cloud softwares as most commercial cloud softwares/services on market are really expensive for them to get start. Also, university students and researchers are usually more sincere to explore the open source software because it is free and cloud computing is quite new for them. And this is a good starting point to educate them to contribute to open source stuffs rather than just using it as freeware. Should there be an OpenStack user group and/or meetup approval process? How do we clean up user groups and meetups that are abandoned? I think there must be have an official central coordinator to manage all the user groups. Ben, I don't think meetup.com is mandatory at all. Any group is welcome to use any tool they prefer. I, Marton, Sina and Tristan are working on a solution for the groups that don't want or can't use meetup.com. Until then, feel free to email me the dates, url, name of the events you're organising and I'll add them to the page http://openstack.org/events Cheers, stef
Hi All, <snip> Hi, I am sorry that I may not able to join the meeting but the Hong Kong OpenStack User Group and Hong Kong Cyberport will be updating you any information if necessary. Dear all, Thank you for inviting us to join this special meeting. I'm the coordinator of Vietnam OpenStack Community (VietOpenStack). I would love to join this meeting. Unfortunately, I'm afraid I couldn't make it because the meeting is going to be at 2am in Vietnam. However, it would be great if we could have the MOM and recorded audio from the meeting so that we don't miss too much. Like Atul, I would like to brief you all on our community activities: - We have approx. 90 members till date - We have organized 1 seminar and 2 meetup events. Hi Sean, Thanks for taking the initiative to organize this. I'd like to toss another agenda item if I may. I started, and currently help organize the Boston meetup, and we've been blessed with lots of local resources, both in terms of facilities and openstack enthusiasts. Feedback I've gotten from multiple folks is that it would be useful to make available technical experts on up and coming projects (ceilometer, heat, new quantum services , cinder etc). While in the past I coordinated with project PTL's to locate local experts, it might be more efficient (and less troubling to PTL's) to have a community effort around this. If local presence is less than possible, then various collaboration tools could work. After that long promo, the agenda item would be - how do UG's help with incubating projects, and what kind of support the Openstack community at large supports that? Regards, a. This is definitely something we're doing. We have a project at the Foundation to create a 'spaker list' where organisers of events can go and select speakers based on their needs. Basically we're extending the Foundation's Members database to include information about availability to speak at events (with travelling options), topics the speaker is comfortable covering and more. We're also working on a new tool to collect all the information about user groups around the world, to aggregate data in a single place (groups.openstack.org) about existence of a group in a given geographic area (doh!), expertise, events, material produced, etc. Stay tuned for more. We have started tracking feature requests as blueprints on this launchpad project: https://launchpad.net/openstack-community Please add your needs to it. /stef

Here is my take on the first agenda item, user group / meetup template, for today's meeting. After we clean it up, this would become part of the http://wiki.openstack.org/OpenStackUserGroups page. Definition of a user group: The OpenStack User Groups are informal associations of people around the world that meet to discuss about OpenStack, share knowledge and experiences. These are important entities for the OpenStack project as they help by spreading awareness, recruit developers and users and more. The user groups don't have a direct relation with the OpenStack Foundation even though the members of the user groups can be members of the OpenStack Foundation and/or be a member of the OpenStack User Committee. Starting up a new user group: When starting a new group, you need to first ask what is the purpose of this group and is there another existing group that already serves these needs? It takes a lot of work to start and operate a well-run user group. You could instead focus your time in helping an existing user group. Make sure that you get an additional person to help you and act as a backup, so if you drop out for any reason, someone else will be there to take your place. We have been running a the San Francisco OpenStack user group for over two and half years (since OpenStack was formed) and we want to provide some guidance. The questions and answers below should help guide you to your happy user group place. Some user group owners that are willing to mentor new user groups and find that list here <-link here-> 1. User Group List: Will your group be unique or can you lend your time to an existing user group rather than creating a new one? Look here for existing OpenStack user groups http://wiki.openstack.org/OpenStackUserGroups 2. Topics: What topics do you want to support? Architecture overview, hacking code, vendor support, production operations, blueprints, an excuse to drink beer, or all of the above? Review these active meetup locations for ideas http://www.meetup.com/openstack/events/past/, http://www.meetup.com/Openstack-Boston/events/past/, http://www.meetup.com/OpenStack-Austin/events/past/, http://www.meetup.com/OpenStack-LA/events/past/ 3. Location: This is critical part of your user group. Find a location that will be there long term. Start with contacting the OpenStack sponsoring companies in your area. Network with other OpenStack interested locals. Contact your local university. Are there any startup sharing locations near you? 4. Materials: There are some basic meeting materials and preparation you will want to go through. Food, drink, security, white boards, projectors, tables and chairs are the basics. The location you secured may have a few of these things, but don't assume they do. 5. Sponsorship: You may need to find a sponsor to pay for the location, food, and/or drink. Again, you can hit up your local OpenStack sponsoring company as a first option. 6. Speakers: Review the community speaker list here <-link here->, mark the speakers and dates you are interested in, and then contact your proposed speakers for their buyin. If you have your own speaker, feel free to add new speakers to the same list. 7. Publish: The recommended way for publishing your intent to meet is using http://meetup.com. Create a new meetup with the name starting with OpenStack, follow the example of the past SF Bay OpenStack meetups for content structure and configuration. Our meetups reoccur every one to two weeks. You probably want to create each event one at a time instead. Post the meetup description and meetup link to the OpenStack User Group community page http://wiki.openstack.org/OpenStackUserGroups 8. Attendees: Get attendees by announcing over openstack and openstack community mailing lists, linkedin, twitter, facebook, and/or google groups. 9. Structure: Structure your meetup through standard slidedeck or templates for each and by three common meetup types. 10. * Beginner: If you want to attract new users to OpenStack then you will want to discuss the architecture and the basics of how to use OpenStack. Mirantis has put together a good workflow presentation, review it here http://www.slideshare.net/mirantis/openstack-cloud-request-flow. You can create your own standard slidedeck as a speaking guide as well. * Intermediate: Developers and operators that want to understand how to make OpenStack production ready for their organization need a place to discuss developer setups. Review and share topics like details on APIs, where code gets installed, checking in code, and configurations. We call our intermediate level meetups Hackathons. We teach new guys how to use devstack, hold bug squash days, and focus on a blueprints. We are talking about making the first meetup of each month as bug squash competition between user groups for free summit passes and a quarterly install fest. We have plans to create tool kits/slidedeck for bug squash and intall fest. * Advanced: We tend to call this our devOps meetup. Our topics are generally about blueprints, advanced operations, or specific deep dive into part of OpenStack like Quantum. We have been discussing the idea of getting the PTLs involved with the Advanced meetups to promote blueprints needing help, status of the project, and anything else the PTL wants to talk about. Operating a user group: You will need make a checklist of things to do and when. Below is the checklist for the SFBay OpenStack meetups. 1. Establish dates and times at least 6 months in advance 2. Schedule speakers, assistants at least a month in advance 3. Schedule tweets and emails to go out 7, 2, 1, and 0 days before the meetup reminding possible attendees of the meetup. Example below * T-7 day 13:00: 17May2012 SF South Bay OpenStack Advanced session meetup with Mike Pittaro Dell, #cloud @openstack RSVP via http://www.meetup.com/openstack/ * T-2 day 13:00: 17May2012 SF South Bay OpenStack Advanced session meetup with Mike Pittaro Dell, #cloud @openstack RSVP via http://www.meetup.com/openstack/ * T-1 day 13:00: 17May2012 SF South Bay OpenStack Advanced session meetup with Mike Pittaro Dell, #cloud @openstack RSVP via http://www.meetup.com/openstack/ * T-0 day 13:00: 17May2012 SF South Bay OpenStack Advanced session meetup with Mike Pittaro Dell, #cloud @openstack RSVP via http://www.meetup.com/openstack/ 4. Schedule an email to go out to the openstack-community@ilists.launchpad.net mailing list with the same content 5. Book your meeting space at least 1 month in advance 6. Notify security about the meetup and so they can provide directions so visitors do not get lost 7. Order the food at least 3 days in advance. A good gauge is about 50-70% of the RSVPs actually show up. Better topics get a higher percentage turnout. 8. Prep the room about an hour before the meetup. Check the AV equipment, power strips, seats, food, drink, and white boards are ready to go. 9. Good work! If we can have a multi-language versions, it will be better for different areas to participate in. 2013/1/16 Sean Roberts <seanrob@yahoo-inc.com>
Here is my take on the first agenda item, user group / meetup template, for today's meeting. After we clean it up, this would become part of the http://wiki.openstack.org/OpenStackUserGroups page.
*Definition of a user group*: The OpenStack User Groups are informal associations of people around the world that meet to discuss about OpenStack, share knowledge and experiences. These are important entities for the OpenStack project as they help by spreading awareness, recruit developers and users and more. The user groups don't have a direct relation with the OpenStack Foundation even though the members of the user groups can be members of the OpenStack Foundation and/or be a member of the OpenStack User Committee.
*Starting up a new user group: *When starting a new group, you need to first ask what is the purpose of this group and is there another existing group that already serves these needs? It takes a lot of work to start and operate a well-run user group. You could instead focus your time in helping an existing user group. Make sure that you get an additional person to help you and act as a backup, so if you drop out for any reason, someone else will be there to take your place. We have been running a the San Francisco OpenStack user group for over two and half years (since OpenStack was formed) and we want to provide some guidance. The questions and answers below should help guide you to your happy user group place. Some user group owners that are willing to mentor new user groups and find that list here <-link here->
1. *User Group List:* Will your group be unique or can you lend your time to an existing user group rather than creating a new one? Look here for existing OpenStack user groups http://wiki.openstack.org/OpenStackUserGroups 2. *Topics: *What topics do you want to support? Architecture overview, hacking code, vendor support, production operations, blueprints, an excuse to drink beer, or all of the above? Review these active meetup locations for ideas http://www.meetup.com/openstack/events/past/, http://www.meetup.com/Openstack-Boston/events/past/, http://www.meetup.com/OpenStack-Austin/events/past/, http://www.meetup.com/OpenStack-LA/events/past/ 3. *Location: *This is critical part of your user group. Find a location that will be there long term. Start with contacting the OpenStack sponsoring companies in your area. Network with other OpenStack interested locals. Contact your local university. Are there any startup sharing locations near you? 4. *Materials: *There are some basic meeting materials and preparation you will want to go through. Food, drink, security, white boards, projectors, tables and chairs are the basics. The location you secured may have a few of these things, but don't assume they do. 5. *Sponsorship:* You may need to find a sponsor to pay for the location, food, and/or drink. Again, you can hit up your local OpenStack sponsoring company as a first option. 6. *Speakers:* Review the community speaker list here <-link here->, mark the speakers and dates you are interested in, and then contact your proposed speakers for their buyin. If you have your own speaker, feel free to add new speakers to the same list. 7. *Publish:* The recommended way for publishing your intent to meet is using http://meetup.com. Create a new meetup with the name starting with OpenStack, follow the example of the past SF Bay OpenStack meetups for content structure and configuration. Our meetups reoccur every one to two weeks. You probably want to create each event one at a time instead. Find below 19 items from last week's user group planning session with my comments inline. I read 10 unique to do items that I will be following up on. Let me know if you want to volunteer to take on any. I will report on progress through this mailing list and at the summit. 1. clarify what kind of users we are looking for or user types, classifying ADDED TO THE USER GROUP / MEETUP TEMPLATE 2. what is the goal of your meetup; increase adoption and/or service developers ADDED TO THE USER GROUP / MEETUP TEMPLATE 3. consumer vs operators vs developers; better classification devOps vs consumer ALREADY DEFINED BY THE USER COMMITTEE 4. beginner vs intermediate vs advanced ADDED TO THE USER GROUP / MEETUP TEMPLATE 5. Example event on API would be an advanced topic for consumers, operators, and developers WE SHOULD WORK ON THIS 6. Provide an example of someone with some dev experience evolving over time in the user group to a openstack developer full-time WE SHOULD WORK ON THIS 7. HP Mark will send beer and pizza anywhere in the world! 8. share user group list with stefano DONE 9. doug (atlanta ) needs speakers more than money THIS CAN BE SOLVED WITH A SPEAKER LIST 10. encourage sharing of speakers over virtual/remote meetings between meetings THIS CAN BE SOLVED WITH A SPEAKER LIST 11. subdomain vs page to hold data, stefano is working on a tool to organize the data I THINK THIS AN ISSUE FOR THE WEBMASTER TO FIGURE OUT 12. How to create local leaders, provide materials to help develop their skills WE SHOULD WORK ON THIS 13. We should get better at multiple media sources. Colin uses the example of the global warming movement, e.g. inconvenient truth slidedeck and video integration WE SHOULD WORK ON THIS 14. User group training of new user groups by experienced user groups WE SHOULD WORK ON THIS 15. Vendors already fund university projects and programs. Integrate openstack with these sponsorships/partnerships. WE SHOULD WORK ON THIS 16. Lew tucker is already sponsoring Phd research. ping him on expanding the work. WE SHOULD WORK ON THIS 17. meetup needs to add virtual attendees WE SHOULD WORK ON THIS 18. facebook as an alternative place to publish I THINK IT IS UP TO THE USER GROUP OWNER. THE FOUNDATION SHOULD PICK A SIMPLE WAY THAT IS RECOMMENDED TO KEEP THE USER GROUPS MOSTLY ORGANIZED AND LESS CONFUSION. 19. We would be really well served by a publishing form to ask the right questions, publish to the meetup page via APIs, update existing pages, post the right attributes like geography served by the meetup and type of user that would be served by the event. Find below the revised user group page based on feedback from last week's planning meeting. There are a few links that still need to be filled in. It is important to note that these user groups include developers, operators, end-users, ecosystem partners, and distribution providers. So we are defining a user more broadly than usual. Starting up a new user group: We have been running a the San Francisco OpenStack user group for over two and half years (since OpenStack was formed) and we want to provide some guidance. The questions and answers below should help guide you to your happy user group place. Some user group owners that are willing to mentor new user groups and find that list here <-link here->. 1. Audience: Who do you want to attract to your user group meetings? Figure out from below what attributes you are interested in. The OpenStack User Committee has defined different user attributes as roles, types of organizations, market segments, and geographies. Find the attributes and values here https://docs.google.com/a/yahoo-inc.com/document/d/1yD8TfqUik2dt5xo_jMVHMl7t.... We need to define another attribute OpenStack skill level. We assume there are three skill levels: beginner, intermediate, and advanced. * Intermediate: We call this our hackathon meetup. Developers and operators that want to understand how to make OpenStack production ready for their organization need a place to discuss developer setups. We have been discussing the idea of getting the PTLs involved with the Advanced meetups to promote blueprints needing help, status of the project, and anything else the PTL wants to talk about. drive better quality developmentoutreach into python user groupsencourage code partipation, commits 5. Topics: Your topics will your different types of users want to listen and interact with based on the attributes above? You can review these active meetup locations for ideas http://www.meetup.com/openstack/events/past/, http://www.meetup.com/Openstack-Boston/events/past/, http://www.meetup.com/OpenStack-Austin/events/past/, http://www.meetup.com/OpenStack-LA/events/past/ 6. Location: This is critical part of your user group. Find a location that will be there long term. Start by contacting the OpenStack sponsoring companies in your area. Network with other OpenStack interested locals. Contact your local university, small technical colleges, and/or college extensions. Are there any startup sharing locations near you? 7. Materials: There are some basic meeting materials and preparation you will want to go through. Food, drink, security, white boards, projectors, tables and chairs are the basics. The location you secured may have a few of these things, but don't assume they do. Consider after-hours HVAC, lighting, and security. A small room can get hot, very quickly with the air conditioning turned off. Sometimes our security forgets and remotely locks our doors. 8. Sponsorship: You may need to find a sponsor to pay for the location, food, and/or drink. Again, you can hit up your local OpenStack sponsoring company as a first option. Consider ongoing commitment vs onetime event. Encourage long term participation by making sure the sponsor has something to gain through the user group. 9. Speakers: Review the community speaker list here <-link here->, mark the speakers and dates you are interested in, and then contact your proposed speakers for their buyin. If you have your own speaker, feel free to add new speakers to the same list. 10. Publish: The recommended way for publishing your intent to meet is using http://meetup.com. Create a new meetup with the name starting with OpenStack-, follow the example of the past SF Bay OpenStack meetups for content structure and configuration. Our meetups reoccur every one to two weeks. You probably want to create each event one at a time instead. Get attendees by announcing over openstack and openstack community mailing lists, linkedin, twitter, facebook, and/or google groups. Post your user group to the http://wiki.openstack.org/OpenStackUserGroups. Example below * T-7 day 11:30: @OpenStack hackathon meetup happening next Thursday at #Yahoo Sunnyvale, RSVP http://meetup.com/Openstack, webex avail * T-2 day 11:30: @OpenStack hackathon meetup happening next Thursday at #Yahoo Sunnyvale, RSVP http://meetup.com/Openstack, webex avail * T-1 day 11:30: @OpenStack hackathon meetup happening tomorrow at #Yahoo Sunnyvale, RSVP http://meetup.com/Openstack, webex avail * T-0 day 11:30: @OpenStack hackathon meetup happening today at #Yahoo Sunnyvale, RSVP http://meetup.com/Openstack, webex avail 4. 9. Post Meetup: After the meetup, send images [jpg] to <-link here->, video [mpg] to <-link here->, marketing updates to <-link here->, and/or update the User Group page http://wiki.openstack.org/OpenStackUserGroups if necessary. It takes a lot of work to start and operate a well-run user group. You could instead focus your time in helping an existing user group. Make sure that you get an additional person to help you and act as a backup, so if you drop out for any reason, someone else will be there to take your place. If local presence is less than possible, then various collaboration tools could work. We're also working on a new tool to collect all the information about user groups around the world, to aggregate data in a single place (groups.openstack.org<http://groups.openstack.org>) about existence of a group in a given geographic area (doh!), expertise, events, material produced, etc. Stay tuned for more. We have started tracking feature requests as blueprints on this launchpad project: https://launchpad.net/openstack-community Please add your needs to it. /stef _______________________________________________ Community mailing list Community@lists.openstack.org<mailto:Community@lists.openstack.org> http://lists.openstack.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/community -- --Ben OSI Individual Member OpenStack Foundation Board Member Co-founder and Leader of China OpenStack User Group( COSUG ) Mobile: +86 15921531026 WEIBO: http://weibo.com/u/1716287123<http://www.weibo.com/u/1716287123?from=profile&wvr=4&loc=infweihao> TWITTER: https://twitter.com/ben_Duyujie LINKEDIN: cn.linkedin.com/in/duyujie<http://cn.linkedin.com/in/duyujie>

A question to the team: Could these user forums have a track(s) to gather future feature requests that could roll up into a product requirement doc (PRD) that the user committee and technical committe can use to feed blueprints and prioritize developments and build a roadmap for various projects in openstack ? Agenda for tomorrow's user group / meetup planning meeting
Review of user group and meetup template Meetups fit into the larger plan of user committee and summit to summit development how? Where would be the location for social materials like videos, meetup logs, and other meeting related items? Where do operators go to figure out how to run OpenStack in production? Can the Foundation start working with some Universities for meeting space, sponsorship, and student participation? Is the Foundation interested in Phd thesis sponsorship? If possible I like to get some supporters for a groups.openstack.org site, including content writers and some developer resources from the community. We have a lot of knowledge about running / starting an user group, and need to write it down, publish on the site and share it with newcomers. Hi, The meeting time shows me Jan 25 as scheduled date, is it right? * Meeting status: *Not started* Starting date: *Friday, January 25, 2013* Starting time: *12:00 am, Europe Time (Berlin, GMT+01:00)* Duration: *2 hours* Host's name: *Sean Roberts Sean, do you have an agenda? We have a lot of knowledge about running / starting an user group, and need to write it down, publish on the site and share it with newcomers. - Also could be cool to start a discussion about group approval process. You caught me being lazy and reusing the webex meeting without updating the time. It is definitely tomorrow, Tuesday, 15 Jan 2012 11:00am to 1:00pm PST. I have updated the webex meet to reflect the actual time.
I will be forwarding an agenda in a few minutes and I will include your two items.

Hi,
The meeting time shows me Jan 25 as scheduled date, is it right? Meeting status: Not started Starting date: Friday, January 25, 2013 Starting time: 12:00 am, Europe Time (Berlin, GMT+01:00) Duration: 2 hours Host's name: Sean Roberts
Sean, do you have an agenda? I like to suggest two topics: - If possible I like to get some supporters for groups.openstack.org site, including content writers and some developer resources from the community. We have a lot of knowledge about running / starting an user group, and need to write it down, publish on the site and share it with newcomers.
- Also could be cool to start a discussion about group approval process. If we plan to start a public site where everybody can create a new user group we need to create some policy to differentiate real-working groups from mistakenly created ones.

Indeed, this is something we need to work on for the future. We can start with a discussion via email, I believe. I think the agenda for today's meeting is big enough. /stef
Someone on the call today offered meeting space in Alpharetta, GA but I couldn't hear your name clearly at the time. Could you drop me a note off list, please, so we can talk about those arrangements? Thanks, Doug On Tue, Jan 8, 2013 at 7:54 PM, Sean Roberts <seanrob@yahoo-inc.com> wrote:

Glad to hear you reaching out. The voice on the call offering space was me (Colin McNamara). My company Nexus has an office in Alpharetta Ga (1105 Lakewood Parkway, Suite 110 Alpharetta, GA 30009) that has a training room that can fit roughly 15 people where we normally hold lunch and learns / brown bags / Hackathons for our engineering teams. If you can send a note to my work email - colin.mcnamara@nexusis.com detailing the time and space requirements I'll connect you with a member of our Atlanta team who can arrange access and internet connectivity Regards, Colin If you would like to schedule a time to speak with me, please click here to see my calendar and pick a time that works for your schedule.
