Great job on the new schedule! If you're already collecting RFE, here is mine: it would be good to see the name of the presenter "above the fold", i.e. with the title of the presentation and without having to open the abstract. Other than that, it looks great. Can't wait to see the mobile app, too :) Cheers, stef
Thanks, Stef! We have that on the features lost for next time. :)

One little RFE, On the event details pages (such as https://www.openstack.org/summit/austin-2016/summit-schedule/events/7846), it would be good to have a ‘add to my schedule’ button if logged in. Some people e-mail round links and then you have to go back to the schedule page to find their event to add it. Tim On 08/03/16 02:42, "Claire Massey" <claire@openstack.org> wrote:

Another little RFE… could we have an ical button on the event page ? While I am happy to manage the schedule using the app, some talks are sufficiently important that I’d like to add them to my work calendar. Tim On 09/03/16 15:25, "Tim Bell" <Tim.Bell@cern.ch> wrote:

I realize it's not an ical/gcal button (look for that integration in Barcelona), but we have added a single calendar view. When you are looking at the "My Calendar" view, you can click on "View / Print Full Calendar" to see a full list, by date of all of your saved events, along with the option to save/print as a PDF (http://www.screencast.com/t/EEXRllUk). Look for full calendar integration in Barcelona. Hope this helps :) Thanks, Jimmy McArthur Tim Bell wrote:

Well, sort of. It's still pretty brutal to discover the week before the event that this functionality is missing when it was available for previous summits albeit via a third party site (sched.org). Like Tim I'm trying to ensure my schedule is reflected in my work calendar and a PDF doesn't really help with that - I'm still stuck manually creating calendar entries. -Steve

Steve, I definitely get that it's tough to switch services. Especially when the feature set is unequal. One never wants to drop features, but this is a very time sensitive release, as you can imagine. On the plus side, we're hopeful our app will work at this Summit, where Sched's failed. We've put a lot of time and attention into caching, which should provide a better user experience. We did try to give some fair notice about this. You'll note the original email was sent on April 4, which was right about the time we realized we wouldn't be able to get fit calendar integration in. Rest assured it's a priority for Barcelona. Meanwhile, I've actually printed out a copy of my schedule and will reference it during the 5 days of the Summit. Hopefully I won't suffer too much ;) Finally, please note that the whole openstack.org site is open source and available on github <https://github.com/OpenStackweb/openstack-org/tree/production/summit>. We welcome contributors, so don't hesitate to jump in. Cheers and feel free to stop by the App Help desk and chat with me near Summit Registration if you have further questions/feedback. Thanks! Tim, Thanks for the feedback :) We have added the "+ My Calender" button to the Event Details page, so it will now be available for direct links to the events. We're still tweaking the design a bit, so please stay tuned for additional updates and improvements. Also noted the addition of an ical button. I'll add that to the list :) Thanks, Jimmy Tim Bell wrote:
