Several US government agencies use OpenStack including NSA, NASA, NRO, Argonne National Lab (Dept. of Energy) and more. OpenStack members sponsored the 2013 event including NetApp, Dell, VMware and Microsoft. The Call for Papers is open through October 25 at [http://fose.com/events/2013-conference/information/attendee/call-for-present...] http://fose.com/events/2013-conference/information/attendee/call-for-present.... The conference theme is Technology Solutions Found Here; there is a Cloud & Virtualization track; and sample topics are listed. We encourage OpenStack government users and government-skilled companies to participate in this conference with speaking sessions. We are considering a BoF as well. Thank you for submitting your session proposals by the October 25 (5pm ET) deadline. About FOSE: FOSE is the nation’s premier event for government technology professionals who need tools, resources, and best practices to transition to the cloud, mitigate cybersecurity threats, and achieve the goals of the DGS while managing uncertainty and the critical need to make it all happen on-time and on-budget. -- Regards, Kathy Cacciatore OpenStack Industry Event Planner 1-512-970-2807 (mobile) Part time: Monday - Thursday, 9am - 2pm US CT kathyc@openstack.org
