[openstack-community] How to set up a Federation in Openstack Icehouse?

Dear concerned, As the subject states, I would like to federate different Openstack setups in different geographical location(s) . The current setup that I have has been deployed using Fuel 6.0(featuring Openstack Icehouse release). I am very new to the concept of federation and any help would be much appreciated.
