I’d suggest an [ambassadors] on the subject. This also allows others to see the work that ambassadors do and may encourage more volunteers.

I believe this is in the scope of this list: "The OpenStack Community team is the main contact point for anybody running a local OpenStack Group."
This list is not quite used: are you sure you need to create a new one?
