From kendall at openstack.org Tue Mar 12 21:52:49 2019 From: kendall at openstack.org (Kendall Waters) Date: Tue, 12 Mar 2019 16:52:49 -0500 Subject: [OpenStack Marketing] Shanghai Summit Sponsor Sales Opening Soon! Message-ID: Hi everyone, Sponsor sales are about to start for the Open Infrastructure Summit (Week of November 4th, 2019) in Shanghai, China! Sales open Wednesday, March 13 at 6:00pm PDT (Thursday, March 14 at 9:00am China Time). Be the first to sign when sponsorships open to secure your spot! To make sure you are ready to sign as a sponsor, I have outlined the steps below. I would be happy to answer any questions or entertain your ideas. Step 1 Review the Sponsorship Prospectus . Step 2 New Sponsors If you are a company who has never sponsored the Summit before, then you will need to sign the Master Event Sponsorship Agreement . Returning Sponsors This past month, we have added a couple additions to our Master Event Sponsorship Agreement so we ask all returning sponsors to sign a one time amendment to the Master Event Sponsorship Agreement. You can sign that amendment electronically now. You will need to know the date that you previously signed the Master Event Sponsorship Agreement as this is required for the amendment as well as the Denver Summit sponsor contract. If you are unsure of the date you signed, please check this document . Step 3 Sign the Shanghai Summit Sponsor Contract. This contract will be available at 6:00pm PDT on March 13 (9:00am China Time on March 14) on our Summit sponsor page . Please note: All Summit sponsorships are sold on a first come, first served basis. In recognition of the ongoing support of the OpenStack Foundation's Platinum and Gold members, their contracts will be considered first, for the initial 24 hours after the executable Shanghai Contract goes live. All other contracts will be processed starting 24 hours later. From that point forward all sponsorships will be sold on a first come, first served basis determined by the timestamp on completed agreements. Lottery Drawing for Diamond Sponsorships Diamond level sponsorships will also be confirmed on a first come, first served basis if there are two (2) or fewer contracts submitted within the first hour of the executable agreement becoming available. However, In order to create a fair and level playing field, if more than two (2) companies submit signed contracts within the first hour (between 6:00 - 7:00pm PDT; 9:00 - 10:00am Shanghai) for a Diamond sponsorship level, the Foundation staff will conduct a lottery to determine the two (2) official Diamond sponsors. The remaining companies that do not secure the Diamond sponsorship via lottery will be given the opportunity to re-sign contracts and obtain the Headline level sponsorship slots in the order they submitted the Diamond agreements. The lottery is only applicable to the Diamond sponsorship level. Please let me know if you have any questions.
