Open Stack

Hi everyone,

Frank and I from Tesora are attentively planning our next annual Trove Day event<http://www.tesora.com/troveday/2015-openstack-trove-day/>.  Last year was our first one and it turned out to be a great success!  This year's event will be held on August 25th in San Jose, CA, and it is free to all attendees.  Trove Day is a full day with leading OpenStack and Database experts that come together to explore the past, present, and future of the OpenStack Trove project, Database as a Service.

We are currently working on the agenda, sponsors, and speakers.  The Foundation is a sponsor, which we are very excited about!  Trove Day is also posted on their event's page<https://www.openstack.org/community/events/>.

I'm reaching out to everyone in regards to best practices for marketing this event.  Aside from e-mailing, posting blogs, and socializing through our social media channels, is there anything you recommend us doing?  What has worked well for your past events?  We would appreciate any feedback you have for us!  That's what a Community is for, right :).
