Open Stack

Good day to all.  The OpenStack Foundation is sponsoring these technical events in California, for which we would very much appreciate community support to help staff our booths.

[https://www.socallinuxexpo.org/scale11x] SCALE 11x - Los Angeles, LAX Hilton, Feb 23-24 (Saturday and Sunday).  We have a couple of volunteers but if you are attending and can help us out for a few hours, please let me know.  We'll also be promoting the LA User Group; co-organizer Stephon Striplin from DreamHost will be there.  As will I :-)
 
Booth hours are Saturday, February 23 10am-6pm, and Sunday February 24 10am-4pm.  
 
SCALE 11x is open to everyone - register today!  You'll not want to miss Chris MacGown, Founder and Chief Scientist from Piston Cloud, talk about The Tao of OpenStack on Saturday 3-4pm.  Then, join us along with Opscode and Rackspace, for an OpenStack in-booth beer party from 4-6pm!

[https://us.pycon.org/2013/] PyCon 2013 - Santa Clara Convention Center, March 14-16.  Our objective for this event is to help Python developers get involved, both from a recruiting perspective for OpenStack jobs and as potential users.  We are in search of volunteers to help staff our booth along with Community Manager Stefano Maffulli.  Meet Jim Blair, OpenStack Infrastructure Engineer, while there, too.  This event is sold out - a limited number of volunteers will be guaranteed free entrance!
 
Booth hours are
- Thursday, March 14, 6-8pm during opening reception
- Friday, March 15, 10am-5pm
- Saturday, March 16, 10am-5pm
 
We'll also have a table at the Job Fair on March 17, so be sure to post all of your open positions on openstack.org/jobs before the event.
